From the Fruit Plantation to the Final Product
Everything Under Control
Over the past few years, the quality and number of approved plantations have increased, ensuring a sufficient supply of organic fruits for production. For the production of CitroBiotic®, we exclusively source organic grapefruits from appropriately certified cultivation farms. Depending on seasonal availability, the fruits originate from Corsica and Sicily. Immediately after delivery in Germany and successful quality control, the grapefruits are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for further processing and extraction. Using various thermo-physical processes, the valuable secondary plant compounds are gently extracted in a multi-stage extraction process – naturally under pharmaceutical cleanroom conditions and in compliance with the strictest hygienic requirements and continuous quality controls. This is the only way we can obtain our CitroBiotic® with the desired best quality of ingredients. This is also why our production is vertically integrated: We are responsible for everything from the purchase of the fruits and the procurement of necessary raw materials to the bottling and delivery of the goods. CitroBiotic® is manufactured in Germany in compliance with the strictest pharmaceutical and hygienic requirements. Consistently high quality is ensured through continuous analyses and regular quality controls. CitroBiotic® grapefruit seed extract meets the high requirements of the Organic Regulation. We guarantee that CitroBiotic® contains neither preservatives nor chemical additives (such as benzethonium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, triclosan) or pesticide residues. Each of our batches is comprehensively analyzed by an independent German laboratory. Upon request, we will gladly send you the analysis.

Digestive complaints, particularly irritable stomach and irritable bowel syndrome, often require an individualized treatment strategy. While guidelines recommend a clear approach involving lifestyle adjustments, dietary changes, and, if necessary, medicinal measures, clinical practice often reveals a patient preference for herbal therapies, which are considered effective and have few side effects.
